Three things: room to work, power that's ours alone, and a route in for road cases. That's about 10×10 ft and two dedicated 120V/20A circuits per station, plus a dock, ramp or freight elevator. Presses, dryers, ink, blanks, tables and crew travel with us.
The checklist
- Space: plan on 10×10 ft for each station and a spot for the queue that doesn't spill into the aisle. For a KICC booth, send the booth plan early and we'll mark where the line goes.
- Circuits: two dedicated 120V/20A circuits per station. The Kentucky International Convention Center takes electrical orders ahead of the show, so ours goes in with your other booth services. Hotel ballrooms usually have the power; just make sure catering isn't on the same circuit.
- Getting in: everything arrives on a freight truck, so the venue needs to expect a delivery and give us a move-in window in writing. KICC schedules load-in through marshalling. During Derby week a downtown hotel may only have a 6am freight elevator slot left.
- Weather: indoors is simplest. A distillery yard or a backyard tent in the Highlands needs solid cover, level ground under the tables and, at an older house, usually a generator.
Tables, dryers, blanks and art prep are on us. What we can't fix from Fullerton is a surprise at the dock, so tell us about power limits, stairs or odd load-in rules when you book. Put them in your quote request.
